sovereign cloud for communities

We help communities build, own, and operate their own cloud infrastructure. No vendors. No surveillance. No lock-in. Just FOSS, owned by the people who use it.

what we believe

privacy

Your data belongs to you. Not Google. Not Meta. Not us. We build systems where privacy is the default, not an opt-in.

auditability

Every component is open source. You can read every line, patch every bug, and audit every byte. No black boxes.

community ownership

The infrastructure belongs to the community it serves. Not a hosting provider. Not a consultant. You own it, you run it, you sustain it.

federation

One community fills up, another forms. They connect. They federate. The network grows without centralizing. That's the design.

proof it works

We helped build the Kootenay Lightweb — a community-owned cooperative running Matrix, Nextcloud, and Keycloak on a 3-node Proxmox cluster in rural BC. Crowdfunded by members, serving real people.

That's the reference implementation. Yours could be next.

who this is for

the stack

Not a product. Not a platform. A set of tools we know and trust, deployed for your community:

communication

Matrix — federated, encrypted, open protocol. Your community's conversations stay yours.

storage

Nextcloud — file sync, calendars, contacts. Self-hosted, federated, no Google Drive.

identity

Keycloak — single sign-on for your community. You decide who's in, not a corporation.

virtualization

Proxmox — open-source virtualization. Your servers, your metal, your control.

container orchestration

Kubernetes — when one node isn't enough. Self-hosted, no managed cloud dependency.

networking

WireGuard, Tailscale, mesh networking. Connect your community without a telco.

AI

Self-hosted LLMs, local inference, community-trained models. AI that serves you, not the other way around.
